Choose the connection model that fits your needs.
RegPEX offers three connection models as a carrier-neutral IX. Start quickly with a GRE tunnel, or go straight to a permanent connection via cross-connect or carrier VLAN.
Model 1
Direct Cross-Connect
A physical fibre connection between your equipment and the RegPEX peering switch at the POP. Highest performance and reliability.

Model 2
Carrier VLAN
No physical presence at the POP required. Connect to the peering fabric via L2 extension through a third-party carrier.

Remote Peering (GRE)
Quick-start via GRE tunnel over the internet. Designed for testing and transitional use. First month free, maximum 6 months.
